We've got those for the backyard and I think they are absolutely beautiful -what do you say?Border and caption added just because I was in a playful mood.

@robar
As "requested" :blah:I went for a somewhat bigger image this time... main image is 900x600... maybe I'll try these dimensions for forum use? (resized most of my pics to 600x400 before)

Best regards,
Th.

Great shot, perfect dof and as sharp as possible. Even like the border.

Wohoo,
that's one of the best "rating" I ever got here! Thanks for the kind words - at the moment I just like all things "springy" (to say so) and I believe it slowly gets on the nerves of my family... hm. Plus I never really thought about good closeups and found this to be quite hard (don't ask how many pictures came out real crappy) - so that encouragement is really great!

I wish you a warm and sunny evening (I got the 2nd one, but it's still very cold/chilly here).

Very nice colors and I think the size is much better too. Theborder effect is pretty cool, how was it done?

Thanks!

The border was easy:

- I made a new image with black background
- copied a supersized version of the photo as layer1 to the new image, moved it around until Ihad one flower in the lower left cornerand adjusted opacity
- next came a white rectangle as layer 2, jut a tad bigger than my original photo, adjusted opacity again
- then came the photo itself in original size, was placed in the middle of the white rectangle and the leftovers from the white rectangle now look like a border.

Best regards,
Th.
