Just took an extended dinner break from work to take a walk in my favorite piece of woodland. Found my first Willow Warbler, (didn't know what it was)

Both are 100% crops so don't ask for larger sizes.
Enjoy Ronny

Hi Ronny,

Nice work! I love it when I get a shot at a new (to me) species.

I hope to be able to get more warblers this year -- They pretty much seem to blow through this area on their way to their much preferred largely wooded areas way north of here. Hopefully, I've found some spots where I stand a chance of getting some shots either in the coming month or two, or when they return in the fall. I think that the advantages that the K20 offers in resolution and focusing speed/accuracy will allow me to add a few more species to my collection.

Very nice, Ronnie. I don't know what it is about the second photo that I like so much. Maybe the mystery of it.

The first one in my opinion is a perfect avian shot , the lighting is special, you caught the birds eye and his position on the branch shows him off so well.
