I like the textures. You should post one of these in the April Challenge, which is... textures!

The interesting thing about these two - when I first looked at the second one, I thought that the mortar was in front of the bricks, not the other way around. It's almost an optical illusion because focus is the only thing that gives an impression of depth, no shadows. And that's some TINY depth of field, isn't it?

These were shot with a Vivitar 105 f/2.5 1:1 macro lens with a stack of close up lenses consisting of a +1, +2 and a +4 lens! DOF is about 1mm or so very very thin!
