I love the big cats. These photos are wonderful, convey the sense of speed very well.

It is inclined to search a bit especially for overhead birds in flight but this can be resolved to some extent if you quickly open up zoom eg from 300 down to around 100 to get bird intarget area then quickly zoom in again !!!

Bit tricky taking pix of harriers which swoop around.

Here is one of these with 300 plus 1.4 TC in AF taken shortly after on the same day.

I did not use AF on the cheetah as there were trees in the foreground which could have caused problems and there are no reruns !!! LOL.
