Hi,

I saw these two in the city centre today and tried to get some photos which wasn't very easy as they were not sitting still at all but moved in small steps though the trees. The white clouds made an unwanted background for these b&w birds but I couldn't change it... at least the leafes add some color.

Taken with my *ist DL2, Kiron-M 80-200 and 2x TC. CA is present, but I think it's not too much considering the lighting situation. I tried another (easier) workflow for these (stronger sharpen in PPL and less postprocessing afterwards) but I think I'll go back to my former "soft" settings - the borders look oversharped that way and I don't like that at all. Anyway - be my guest here:

and enjoy the images!

Aren't those the guys that are in the Windex commercials?

We don't have them around here, but I do see them when I go out West. Nice shots.

Hey - thanks!

To be honest, after having seen the commercial I am not sure... the windex birds look more like crows with white breasts (if such a thing exist)...
