Hi penolta,

What an opportunity, and you were able to get the shots! Incredible stuff!

Nothing less than an amazing series of shots. I can't help but be green with envy, especially after "the one that got away" today. I pulled up in my driveway, saw what I first thought was a vulture in the sky...realized it was a red-tailed hawk as I was getting out...grabbed for my camera as he sailed down over my yard, not 25 feet away, and then watched as he sailed away while I was changing from the 28mm I happened to have on my camera to a longer lens....

Magnificent bird....no photos....

Great series! Number 7 is one funny shot! He needs to be reminded he did this to himself!

Great series, I have never seen a hawk at the bird bath before.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the nice comments.

Dennis, if you think #7 is funny, be sure to see #7 in the first series (link above the first image here).

Roy, these were so sized to fit the (my) IE browser screen without scrolliing, and toreduce the loading time for the multiple images (the larger the images, the slower they load).
