So I'm new here. Hello!
I've posted an introduction in the introduction forum as asked as well.
Just got my new camera and I'm so frikken happy!
While having the summer tires put on my car today, I walked down to the river to play with my new toy.
Now remember I'm a newbie.

Welcome to the community! An impressive way to introduce yourself. The kayaker shot is really nice. You'll find this is a friendly group of folks who are happy to help with any questions you might encounter as you get used to your new toy.

I second the comment about the kayaker - very nice! And the welcome to the forum, always happy to see new people finding out how much FUN these cameras can be.

What lens did you use for these - the kit lens? Looks like you aren't going to have any trouble with the new camera.

Both of these photos were taken with an old SMC 200mm lens.
It was incredible luck that the kayaker was there. He was so colorful!
My fav photo though is of the bare plant. Can't explain why but I just love that picture.
I am so blown away by the photos I've seen on these boardds. You all have such awesome eyes and skills. Hope some of it rubs off on me!
Cheers,
Xmas
