That lens is amazing, but of course it is only glass and plastic without you.

They look great to me....I don't know which makes me the most jealous...The lens, your proximity and access to these birds or your skill shooting them! LOL

Dawg, it is more persistance and patience tha skill. The faster focus will help for quick reaction shots. I am lucky this rookery is about 15 miles from my home.

What cities are you near in Alabama, my Sister in Law is from Dothan.

That for BIF is a very high keeper rate already. That wastage rate is nothing at all. Good move.
