Taken with a K10D Pentax camera and a Vivitar 300mm f/5.6 TX mount lens with a Sigma APO DG EX 1.4 Teleconverter. Hand held shot at f/11 and f/8 in Aperture priority mode!

Dawg, those are. I like the 1st one best. I have never seen such close close-ups of a RBWP. They are usually very shy. We have a few around here, but only by sound, not sight.

A birdfeeder under several trees will eventually get them...If you have a feeder that Downy woodpeckers like then eventually the Redbellies will show up.
