These two stand out amongst the nice images the whole month.

Driver3 ‘s heron & DigitalGal's bottle with its bokeh.

At the end of the day I pick DigitalGal's bottle.

As many have stated, there are several strong entries. My vote goes to PDL for the hummingbird. Daz's Gasworks Hill is a close second.

For creative interpretation, I'm impressed by thkn's photographer interpretation and Ira's mechanical parts. I also like a100user's Statue of Liberty, but my vote has to go to Intrepid Walker's hilltop silhouette. The sky gradient is simply overwhelming. Great job to all!

I started from the top going through them all one by one and writing down the ones I liked. Well, that didn't work as I can vote for ten. I've gone through them again and narrowed it down narrowly to one. Tough decision this month. Everyone's right. These are all getting better each month.

My vote goes to Driver3.

i guess i can't take too much more time going over which one i like best. i keep flip flopping between all the great entries this month. but with time winding down, mine goes toan entry that i would not think of asa traditional silhouette, but it has given me new perspective into the subject. i think digitalgal's photo is an excellent sample and very deserving to be this months winner, so my vote goes to supportdigitalgalinlast month's contest.

Okay, the votes are counted and boy, was it close. By a hair, Intrepid Walker had the most votes the way I counted it.

There were many, many honorable mentions - Driver 3, PDL, NonEntity, Digital Gal, DAZ, Monza, snostorm, and many more.

This was a much more fruitful challenge than I was expecting. And, everyone's right. I think the photos are getting better each month.

So, Intrepid Walker, congratulations! Come up with a topic for the month of June and post so we can see what we can do this month!

Did I count wrong? Or, is Intrepid Walker just not around right now?

Me again. I'm not sure if there is any protocol here for this type of situation or not. But, I've written to IntrepidWalker privately since not seeing any notification here that he knows he won, with no response yet.

So, asa proposal to a possible no previous protocol situation - how about we give until tomorrow 5 p.m. and if he still hasn't responded, we award to the second place winner? I've had people writing to me anxious to get started (as I am) with the June challenge and time's ticking away.

I certainly hope the no response is not due to something bad happening.

Patty

p.s. I'll be back later when my internet connection (at least for Steve's) is a little quicker. I keep trying to respond to people's postings with no luck. Hoping this one actually goes through.

That sounds like a reasonable solution IMO.
