Finally a silhouette, some old machinery laying at the water's edge behind an old abandoned commercial property.

Hi, newmar, and welcome to Steve's Pentax forums! That's a lovely way to introduce yourself - a wonderful picture and very fitting for this month's challenge.

Hey all,
I am back from my vacation trip and I think I've gotsomething for this challenge. This happened at some kind of theatre performance where some other people walked up and down with their cameras and used flashes all over the place. I was sitting in one location and tried to catch some available light shots when this guy and me clicked at the very same moment and I "re-used" his flash light to say so. I catched the scenery AND the photographer (or to be more precise - his silhouette). Resized and some minor postprocessing, but no tricks to "generate" the silhoutte etc. Have fun!

Great shot Daz. This challenge is producing some wonderful pictures and I am guessing there are some more good ones yet to be posted.

I'm replacing my previous silhouette picture for this one. It'sat least different than the usual sunset pictures I usually take.

Cool, Harriet. Where was this taken? Looks like the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

As always, some really excellent entries. They say that it's the taking part and not the winning that counts. Just as well!!!

Taken yesterday at Stratford-upon-Avon:
