Oh, I always love looking at your pictures, so thanks for posting your perfect barn owl pics. I'm not too sure I'm thrilled with owls at the moment though - one was hooting outside my window last night at 2 AM and woke me up. I had a hard time going back to sleep because I kept thinking about going outside with the camera to see if I could find him, then if I could manage a shot (not likely, with not much for lighting).

Wonderful photos, Walter.

We had one of these living in the barn (!) when we bought our what-used-to-be-a-small-farm 18 years ago. It moved out soon after we moved in, and today I think the species is extinct in Sweden. A true loss.
