These were taken the last 2 weeks .
All were heavily cropped. I need to refine my stalking technique if I am not going to have a long tele like what Kjell has - a *600mm

A barred owl, I believe

Another owl! I love the picture, but hope that I don't get woken up this evenng by that Hooo, Hooo, Hooo again!

They are not quite common in Toronto yet. I wouldn't mind being woken up at all. I have been trying to be really close to use my DA200mm. Not much luck yet as they were all done with the same old A*300mm


We have a bright day Friday afternoon. Can't wait to have a workout of the lenses.




























All my setting were to maximise shutter speed (all over 1/2000s ) for BIF. Still not much luck in nailing a good in flight shots yet
