This Tern was small and made fast dives. Took a number ofattempts to catch in the act, somwhere in the frame and in focus.

Pentax K20D, Pentax DA* 300mm F4

Those little guys are tough to get - fast and erratic. :angry: You did well. It that was autofocus, that AFspeed is almost enough to make me spring for a K20, but how many cameras can one person use? :whack:

Really impressives series. I tried to capture a Herring Gull doing something similar last week but got nothing even remotely as good. That looks like a great combination of camera and lens. Oh well, I can always hope to win the lottery :-)
