All wonderful! Lots of variety for you, I like them. Do you suppose that winter is finally over? We've gone into the first hint of summer - first really hot day today.

We had a garage sale today, that's a sign winter is over, but it has been on the cool side. What is consideredhot out on the west cost? We would consider 70 to 80 hot for us this time of year. It's been more in the 50-60's.

By the way, I appreciateyour workon the challenge topic this month; silhouettes.

All of these are great. #2 is really interesting, and it's one of my 'tricks' (I haven't patented it! :-) I probably picked it up from reading Freeman Patterson's books). You've focused on 'the opposite interest', the leaves, rather than the colorful flowers. It's unexpected and provides a new perspective.

Yesterday it was 90 F right after lunch at work, and I just looked at the website - it's not even 10:00 am and it's 89 F all ready. And we're supposed to help someone move this afternoon? Ugh!

Harriet - You should visit Yakima (the Palm Springs of Washington). As I write this, it is 98 in Yakima. Time to think Winter and snow again. So much for the cool Pacific Northwest- Bruce

Were going into the low 40's to high 30's the next two nights here in sunny Buffalo!

Well, it might be cold here, but it's damp!

Very nice series. I haven't seen much of flowers around here exceptin the nurseries. The weather is going back and forth. Has been fairly nice all week in that it didn't rain on my vacation as had been forecasted. Probably been 60's all week.

Went out today to see what I could find and only managed to get a barn that I ended up silhouetting accidentally. May switch it for my already posted image.

Anyway, I like your second and last ones here. The second one you can just tell how freshly opened those leaves are.

Very pretty, well taken,
We have just had our first taste of winter today, very strong gusty south westerly winds with overnight temperatures of 6 degrees centigrade / 32° Fahrenheit.
