Hi Ed,

I'm not experienced with the backgrounds. Still trying to master just getting the image in focus. But, I like the first two of yours better. The background is not distracting. The other two, the backgrounds are temporarily drawing my eye to the OOF area to see what it is.

The dragonfly is excellent, although all are very nice.

So far, so good. Have you tried to shoot a fairly low-growing flower/plant over gravely dirt, or worse, pine needles? That's about as difficult an OOF background as you can get.
