I found these critters in my backyard. The image is not great as I had to shoot through my rear window.

Nice picture. We have Quail here in Minnesota, but your rarely--and I mean RARELY--see them.

Great shot! We have lots of quail in Arkansas, but nothing as picturesque as this one. Plus, I've never been able to shoot one. Well done.

Gambel's Quail is a desert inhabitant, so Dad andhis kids must find your green lawn a veritableoasis. Nice find, despite the window.

A beautiful quail. We have lots of quail around here - I see them running across the road all the time. However, show up with a camera and there are NONE to be found! I never realized what a pretty bird they are until I caught some in the vacant lot next to me.

Through the window, plus the fact that these guys are probably running all over, these are great. Never see quail in New England. Not sure if they don't exist here or are just hiders.
