Anyone have an idea what this Wsp (or some kind of stinging insect) is doing hanging upside down on a reed.

Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of wasps? ButI have a feeling it has something to do with food or nest building!

To me it looks like it's eating an insect. I also always do like that, when I eat insects I like to hang upside down.:-)

Good catch (both you and the wasp)! Heavily cropped or do you come that close with the new 300?

This one was heavily cropped, he was not very big. The Dragonfly and butterfly photos are slightly cropped to gain best perspective.
