Friday--my 33rd wedding anniversary. I've been married longer than many of my co-workers have been alive...

Saturday--both girls qualified for the section track meet. A win here sends them to the state meet.

Sunday--our open house for my graduating senior daughter.

Got out this morning for a few shots before leaving for the meet. All K10 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8

bad Hair day--Prairie Smoke with morning dew

Both your photos are great, but #2 is awesome. Looking forward to seeing shots of the track meet.

Lovely pictures, both of them,Rick!

Seems we're in the same sort of thing. Within a three weeks period I have my younger sons birthday, my own 50:th birthday, our 20:th weddinganniversary and my older son's graduation. Phew!

Rick, I really like that second picture, congrats on your upcoming anniversary and your kids' accomplishments. Kjell congratulations an all that's going on in your life as well! My wife and I celebrate 30 in mid June.

I wondered what your shot would look like with a bit more contrast and a bit of straightening. I hope you don't mind the PP.

Glenn

Wonderful shots, Rick! I know what you mean about being busy - May seems to be a busy time for us, too. A niece's high school graduation, the drama of which college she's going to go to next year and so on. It's great that you took some time out and appreciated what's around you.

Congratulations for your 33rd Wedding Anniversary.

The 'bad Hair day' shot is very cool.

The 'Minimum Maintenance Road' is wonderful. The light is gorgeous, well done. I love shots like this one, they inspire the imagination, tells a story - where does the road go, who just when around the corner, is there magic in that golden light ...

Please accept my belated congratulations (I was out of town for 5 days and missed the thread). I like the fact that your wedding anniversary is on my birthday (the 30th). I turned a very youthful 65. Woo Hoo, I qualify for Medicare and for reduced air fare.

I sincerly hope your 33 years of marriage have been as happy as my 40 years.
