LBA is neither a sickness nor an addiction........It is a NEEEEEED!!!! If I start counting my lenses I think....Hmmm....Thirty is not really too many is it????? I mean I've stayed away from the high dollar Limiteds and only paid cash for them from my saved $2.00 a day lunch fund......Naww....Now 40 might be too many....But then when I get there I know I can convince myself that 40 is not enough.......Thank goodness for Newbie friends ....I can dump the I don't wants or I don't needs on them and they think it is Christmas and the wife doesn't see all those extra lens....At least I don't think she does.........Oh My God!!!! What if she has seen them???? Sorry...I'm feeling sick and worried right now!!!!!!!!

You are NOT helping my LBA at all! The 31 pictures make me want that lens, too - and I've not felt a particular needfor a lens in that focal range. And your pictures with the 77 haven't helped either - it's just convinced me that the lens is every bit as wonderful as I remember when I played with the one the rep had. Sigh. I don't need them. I really don't need them. But when has that had anything to do with it???

You're all a bunch of LBA enablers!

thanks for the kind words. the internet is turning into an LBA support group!

Here's a shot I took with the 77. The colors and contrast are basically like that out of the camera. it's ridiculous. I have not had a single flat image with any of the limiteds.

It's kind of small to see, but look closely at the pants, the 'glow' or outline you see is not from sharpening. it looks that way in the fullsize pic. as far as sharpness goes, i can see individual hairs on his arms....

for some reason all these pics look a bit flat after photoshop. I don't know why.

they look way different out of the camera. Could it be color management?
