After looking at all of the wonderful pictures, just one really stands out, and that one is Harriet's Spiral Staircase. Great example of the "golden spiral".

Count my vote for Harriet's staircase as well. Really nice shot, Harriet.

My vote goes to a200user with the car wheel with it's concentric circles in chrome, white rim & black tyre complemented by the circle (oval) of the headlamp - simple & effective.

Too many good entries to mention them all. I like the simplicity on a200user's wheel.

Too many good entries...but for me, it comes down to Harriet's staircase and No_Pro's seashell, and I'm going with the seashell.

This is really tough. Every time I look at them all, I end up not being able to decide between Harriet's staircase, Peacekeeper's ceiling or No_Pro's shell. Can I give each one a 1/3 vote? :-)

Let me think on this some more and I'll narrow it down. Many fine photos besides these three, too. But, these keep catching my eye.

Patty

p.s. Peacekeeper - Did we ever find out what your's was a photo of?

edit - peacekeeper - peacemaker - all the same right!

I'm down to the hubcap and the shell. Both are awesome and both so different. It depends on my mood which I prefer, which is one reason why I've hesitated voting. Do I go for shape or color? A200user's hubcap is the kind of picture I see winning awards. But I really love the color and swirl of the shell. The hubcap is a classic - perfectly framed. The shell is exciting and surreal. Since I gave into emotion and addiction yesterday (an unexpected bonus), I'll go for excitement.

My vote goes to Dan's (No_Pro)'s shell.

What a great bunch of images this month, again! These monthly challenges are really getting harder to vote on.

I thought Harriet's staircase was exceptional as was No-Pro's shell and a200's wheel.

After careful deliberation I have to gowith Harriet's staircase. Brilliantly executed, like all the pics this month!
