yes i did a few last night. i also found out that you don't need a mat cutting board.. i've got a 3'x5' drafting table. i went to home depot and bought a $10 5' long aluminum 2'' wide rule. C clamped it to the table and used 2 squeeze type clamps for the middle of the rule so all i had to do was take them off, position the mat, put the middle clamps on and cut the mat.. problem is that i had won 2 mat cutting boards from ebay and now will have to relist them.

one thing i can recommend is get a logan 4000 mat cutter (ebay <$20 BIN) for cutting. it makes life easy.. be careful with it tho so you don't end up with a lot of puncture holes in your hand.. hmmmm, wish they'd told me that...

The cutter I use is a Logan Simplex 750 and it makes life very easy cutting beveled matts along with their V groove cutter for edge decoration on the matts.

yeah,
the logan 2000,3000, and 4000 does the same. also the alto 45..
wish my hand would heal.hehe
just posted the boards and a bunch of computer stuff..
