What fun birds to watch! You definitely need a longer lens for something like this, but they came out quite well, considering. I wish we had them around here, it looks like you could easily watch them for hours.

To have your approval on these means a lot. I know the quality is lacking along with my own experience but, the story here was just too much fun to keep to myself. Glad you enjoyed them.:-)
Yes Harriett, a GOOD quality long lens! After this shoot, I determined I needed one so I got a 100-500mm lens that I paid $400 dollars for. It sucks! I'd have been much better off saving up for a good one and just did without for now. Oh well, I have one heck of a paper weight!
