Ah, the eternal question - to vertical or to horizontal? I don't think it makes all that much difference with this picture, but then composition isn't my strong point.

I agree, they are both nice. It would all depend in how you were going to use it.

I prefer the composition of the second one.

The first one has too much green space at the top.

Both images are done well but the second one to me stands out more due to composition.

I like them both as well. Usually I would go for the second one which has the subject off center, but in this case I like them both.

With my usual contrarian view, I prefer the first one - the large area of the two dullbackground leaves distracts too much from the narrower bright central one in No 2.
