Every year I post some photos of these in memory of Little Dawg's Dad. The flowers were planted from bulbs that had belonged to him before he died. Hope you like them!

Beautiful! Got to watch those little beetles though, they can wreck havoc in your garden if they get out of control.

That reminds me of a funny story. A few years back I was relaxing watching TV, when my wife asked me to spray her flowers for insects. I was a little annoyed to be interuppted from doing nothing, but I went out to the shed, grabbed the spray bottle and took care of her garden. Problem is the spray bottle I grabbed was "Weed-be-gone". I wish that stuff was as effective on weeds in the lawn as it is with flowers in the garden. Man it killed everything!

She never forgot, NowI have to pull those beetles out by hand.

Thank you! I hate weed killer. Several years ago the County came by spraying the side of the road. They killed several 50+ year old trees in my yard. Nearly sued over that!

Oh man! :shock:I did basically the same thing once. Only I waited till after I built a 600 gal koi pond and planted about $300 worth of plants and flowers around the yard and pond. Then I sprayed! I was lucky, it didn't kill the fish but, sure put a hurttin on the plants. The wife wasn't real happy about it either… were divorced now…
