Heres my Try For this month. As Some of your know my K100D is giving me problems So i Took out the backup DS.
This Shot Is of a Monument to the Girls scout in the Town. This Site is maintained By all the Girl Scout and Brownie troops in town.
Behind that Is Kirks pond. This pond was left To the Town for the use of the Children. Its Stocked and only Children are allowed to Fish. During The Winter Its is the Towns Ice Skating Rink.

Ira - that's a wonderful shot, definitely better than the other one.

Phil - I like your shot, too. I just wish I were home and looking at all this on a decent monitor - my old laptop does not qualify. Oh well, at least I have the computer and internet access!

I live in Mount Shasta California with fires raging all around us. The subject for this month led to comparison pictures of the view from my back yard, a clear day and this morning with the dense smoke from the fires.

Glad I'm not in NorCal at the moment - Mt. Shasta is normally such a wonderful sight, but the brown mess of smoke isn't nice at all.

Dawg - is the saturn 5 rocket a display in a park or something? It's certainly an appropriate symbol for your area!

Australian Bearded Dragon

Taken at a lake about 5 blocks from my house. I was just walking around looking for something to take a photo of. This guy was just basking in the sun as it was setting.

Once again there's a bunch of grreat images already!

Here's one from where I shoot on a regular basis. This is along the Indian River Lagoon.It is an extremely scenic area.

This istaken with myK10D and Sigma 100-300 EX f4 @ 110mm F9 iso100 1/800.
