Hey Gang
I just got my camera back. They not only sent me a new body, they sent me the lens, battery charger two batteries, cables, strap, software and all. Needless to say, I'm very pleased!
Keep in mind; all I sent them was the body.:-?

Dang, now that is service. I sent my wife to the doctor last month with a broken ankle. All I got back wasthe same oldwife with a cast. :-)

Seriously, always good the hear about good customer service. I have not had to send anything back to Pentax yet, but it encourages me to hear they stand behind their customers.

I guess I should Clarify, I have the Samsung GX10 twin to the Pentax K10d but, I have no doubt they would have equally fine service!

Glad you got it back...Now if you haven't already done it get another camera as a back up. I keep my Kodak DX6490 just in case I need a camera while my K10D is either being serviced or on loan to a relative! Neither one will happen with any frequency as long as I'm still breathing but you never know and a back up keeps the inner photographer at bay!

Hi Tim

well... why do I need a back-up? I only live a few hours south of you!:blah::lol:

Actually I'm looking at maybe K100. I have seen them below $300 now and I could still use the same lenses…
