Another awesome bird! Ours are so boring compared to these. They all seem to be shades of brown or black.

Two great bird pictures. Both should be published somewhere!

OK, now you've done it Kjell

I'm going to sell all my camera gear and join a monastery somewhere! No use in trying… I'll never become a photographer with all the competition from all you guys!:G

Well, thanks?, GW.:?

Were not here to compete, but to share. I owe whatever I have of skills to Roy, Tom, Harriet, Ira, Penolta, you and all the other people on this forum. :bye:

So don't despair, it's not a question about talent. It's all about getting the most expensive gear, flashiest looking hoods and fanciest bag. You can buy your way forwards.

GW - keep hanging around here and watching what others post. I've learned a great deal from Kjell (and it's been me learning from him, not him learning from me!). These guys have certainly helped me improve my photo skills. I've come a long way but there's so much further to go!

Kjell - buying the most expensive gear, and fanciest bag only goes so far. You need the biggest, heaviest lens too...
