I was coming home last night when I saw this cloud forming to the west. I had to pull over and get a picture, much to the dismay of my other half…

Unbelievable shot! Really terrific shot, but my wife, after I read you intro, sided with yours...."It's a funnel cloud !"

Well, if you two were on that motor cycle I don't blame her.

Glad you had your camera with you so you could share it with us. Just awesome!

We've had some really weird weather here, that's for sure. Great capture of an interesting phenomena!

The low pressure system that was over us could just as easily ended up a tropical system!

First good sunset in a month was last night down here too. No funnel clouds though. Was it really a tornado or just a cloud formation? I had not heard about any tornadoes in Imperial Polk County.

That is an awesome picture! If it had been me, I would have been urging you to take more, or rather grabbing the camera and taking my own. Beautiful colors, too.

Very cool shot. Looks like something from Mount Doom!

Very cool! I love the color.

We had a tornado watch here last night, too. It was strange. I can only think of two we've ever had in the 20 years we've been here. Just not tornado country.

The forecast for the week is thunderstorms every day.
