Hi,,
just arrived from a 10 days vacation in germany.
we were at the east sea in former eastern germany in a small town called Kuehlungsborn. It was realy nice. except the weather could have been better.
But my kids loved to see the ocean for the first time and a had a lot of possibilities to try to get some photos with my K100D.
All pics taken with the K100D, Kit lens or the Tammy 70-300mm.
I was quite happy with both lenses, allthough i had the feeling in about 50 % of the time i had the wrong lens on the body. :-)
the only thing disappointing was, I wanted to take some sunsets, but there was none, just one, where the clouds appeared approximately 1 hour before the sun was down :-(.
And i got the possibility to shoot some bird-in-flights (the seagulls were really nice models and training subjects).
So we had a lot of fun and expect some more pics during the next time.
alex
First to start with a BIF.

Now beach impressions with some 'Standkoerbe' (don't like the translation beach chair), which are very helpful in this region, cause they keep the brease away from you.

Very nice series! Looks like you had a great time and the first picture is wonderful (my favorite), though all are very good. I know what you mean about sunsets - they never seem to cooperate.
