Great shots-nothing like memories of the past. Looks like it's held up well. Like to pay that again for gas!

Great shots Dawg--technically perfect (color, sharpness, etc) and great subject matter! I thought the price read $4.20 until DMJJR's comment--perhaps the decimal point is off by one:lol:! By the way, where's Goober???

Goober...George Lindsay lives about 60 miles South and West in Jasper Alabama. The times I bought gas at this station, the attendants would have passed for him though. Glad folks petitioned to have this one moved and restored, rather than tear it down!

They were sent to a company that rebuilds them to have them restored to original shape.

Awesome shots Dawg!! Wow, blast from the past. Love the price too. Just a little higher than when I started driving. Hard to believe I used to pay $.35 an imperial gallon at one time, and I'm not that old...:roll:....cheers....Don
