I bought a Giga One portable harddrive (very useful device by the way), and it's screen was covered with a semi-adhesive plastic sheet. That one has been on my DS screen for more than a year now...

Roy and Kjell: you guys sound like you have used an economical and eco-sensitive approach to a screen protectors by recyling old packaging! Makes me feel bad that I purchased a new item. How is the clarity of the adhesive plastic sheeting especially since it is being re-used. I presently use the Giotto self adhesive sheet and so long as you get it on without any air bubbles, the clarity is good.

mines fine but i don't do much peeking other than the histogram.
i'd send you a 4''x5'' piece but i put it somewhere i would not forget..
i'm sure this is the same stuff you buy for a greatly inflated price..

You get both parts and it does not seem to affect viewing at all.

Very happy with mine.

Dal

Dal,

The protectors arrived and I installed the one for the main LCD--it works great and the fit is perfect! Visibility appears to be 100% and it looks like a pro accessory! Haven't decided if I want to install the protector for the top display.

Thanks for the link. It was $25 well spent.
