Hi All

I Posted a while back about My K100d's Sensor Looking water Spotted. After Several Attempts at Cleaning it myself, No luck. The Spots were Still Visible On the Sensor and In My pictures. So thinking Maybe i had no Clue what i was doing I took It To a Local Shop That sells Pentax, for a Cleaning, I Told them the situation and he Took a look. He frowned and Said Lets send this to Pentax to Be looked at. Last week we got the report. BAD sensor ( repair Cost Around $300). So I took out the Stand by DS, until i decided what I to replace it with.
After much looking at my Very depleated Finances( Lost My Water Well 2 weeks Ago) .
i decided that the K20D was Out of reach. But the K200D Was not, so thats what i got.

So far I am very happy With It. I went out Yesterday to a local State park to play Around With it and Thought I would Share a few Examples Straight from the camera With Very mimimal PS.

Phil

If The weather holds long Enough today i am going to another area I frequent and Play with All RAW pictures this time.
BTW All the Above were taken with the Pentax DA16-45 F4. Love this lense, I Got this instead of the KIT lense.

Very nice, I always liked the 28-105 even with my film cameras!

Nice shots, Phil. The camera looks like it takes nice bright photos. Keep posting and letting us know your thoughts. I am interested in upgrading myself.

Very nice shots Phil. Sorry to hear about your K100D loss but congratulations on the K200D aquisition.

I'd also be interested to know your thoughts between the K100d and K200d, particularly on white balance and high ISO noise control.

I feel bad for your situation. I still use my K100d on a regular basis and really like the rendering from it.

Hopefully the new K200 will be a worthy replacement.
