Hi all,

Great topic, for lack of a wide lens (..or subject) this photo @ 26mm with the kit lens.

Crow's Nest Peak, Drakensberg, South Africa.. enjoying the last light from 10800 ft.

Cheers,

Alfred

Nice to hear from SA, Alfred! Beautiful picture, I'm sure the hike was tough and it was worth it!

Edit: Picture removed for another entry.

Alfred - love that picture, the colors are wonderful and it sure looks very wide to me.

Kjell - that's a lovely one, too. Some day I'd like to visit South Africa, looks like some place where I'd have a great time.

Not a great picture... But just to convey the wide open expanse of Lake Ontario... Took this on Saturday at Olcott Beach on the south shore. $0.25 rides for the kids, can't beat it.

Sigma 24-135mm @ f8, ISO-200, 1/500, 135mm

Thx Kjell, realy enjoyed your pic too. Also loved the pics of the Double Collered Sunbird and the White Rhino in your previous posts. Glad you enjoyed SA (andsurvived the donkeys/goats/pigs/buck/potholes on the oldTrankei roads).

Ciao
