I hear you on that bigdawg. Here is a altered one. I used Adobe Lightroom. Added a little shadowing to the sides to give more attention to the flower. Not my best but I would say an improvement from the original.

Heck man I could live with that one for sure. Beautiful!!! You did gooood on the PP! One of the good things of the Cosina made Vivitars is they reduced the weight on them. My Group 1 Series one made by Kiron is a hefty sucker. I didn't mean to steal your thread with my photo answer to Tim. Sorry if it caused any problems. I'll finish it in another thread. Post some more photos soon. If they are all like this one we will all enjoy them.

Dawg, I don't know what the difference between our two experiences is? I just grabbed an M series lens with no contacts and took the K20d outside. I left the camera in Av mode and took four shots of the same subject at 5.6, 8. 16, and 22. All four of them exposed properly at 1/160. When I moved the camera to M mode and used the green button on 5.6 the camera set an exposure of 1/160.

Are you sure the lens you are using is not a KA mount? If there is some setting I need to change to get M series lenses to work in Av mode I would sure like to figure out what it is.

Any other old lens users have a definative answer?

Tim
