A couple of Orchids from Ellis Brook just southeast from Perth near the Escarpment. Conditions were very windy and difficult to shoot.

Wind and flowers is a tough combination, but those turned out quite nice.

Love the second one - an unusual (to my eyes at least) flower. I know what you mean about the wind and flowers being difficult - it's about impossible to catch the focus right if you are really close. You did very well with it.

good looking orchids
i like the china blue



i see i will have to get out into the bush this weekend

so far i have only seen a jug and some snail orchids

there is an orchid show in september in belmont which will include native orchids if you are interested
