Caught this big (actually about the size of my pinkie fingernail) spider trying to take care of its catch while the smaller spider was trying to horn in on it. K10 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8. Anyone know what kind of spider the white one is?

You might be looking at the male and female of the species there. Males tend to be much smaller than female spiders generally. He might be taking the opportunity to mate with her while she's pre-occupied by her dinner (thus avoid getting eating himself afterward) I don't know what species but that's a good possibility to why this happened the way it did.

Can't help with the ID, I have not ordered a Big Book O' Spiders yet. Great shot though, I love macros that capture insect behavior.

It is a white crab spider (Misumena vatia). They don't spin webs, but are "free" hunters. The small one is, indeed, the male of the species.

Very nice capture Rick.
Don't get that opportunity often!
