This is Eugene, a kitten my oldest daughter and her fiance rescued from the street in a small town near here--he and another kitten wer huddled against the tire of a truck parked in front of Tom's business. His brother found a home with the receptionist at the vet. Both were in tough shape when found a couple of weeks ago. Eugene used to hiss at everyone and was very underweight. He now loves people, purrs and loves to play with the other three cats in the house. We're all joping he keeps his blue eyes. Pentax K100 with Pentax 50mm f/1.4 AF.

Here are a few from this morning...K10 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8

Tomoorow I'm off to Gold Rush Days in Oranoco, MN--the biggest flea market event in the state--always the 3rd weekend in August. I'll be looking for Pentax equipment and fountain pens--hope I have some kuck with both.

What a fun sounding weekend! Mine is going to be spent cleaning the house and packing for vacation. We leave Tuesday and it just won't come soon enough.

I had been randomly checking in while in vacation last week and thought I'd commented on this one. He's just so cute. Makes me miss my kittie we lost this year. We haven't taken the dive to get another one just yet. But, this one makes it tempting.

And, your web shots are amazing. I think of you every time I see a web in the yard. But, know mine will never come out like these.
