Pentax K20D Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG APO with Vivitar MC Teleconvertor 2x @ 600mm, No Cropping in both shots.

Hopefully shots will be much better, even with this old TC, when I get the smc DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED in October.

Not bad at all Rodney!
I have the same 2x converter. What are your plans for this lens when you get the new one?:-)

It looks like the TC doesn't make your shots much softer - that's a good sign.

Those are better than I would have guessed Rodney. I have not had much luck with 2x TCs on anything and less than great luck with any power TC on a zoom lens.

2x on a zoom
these look good considering
try it with a prime if you have one

you used a tripod or hand held?

Rodney, much better than what? Those are pretty good as it is! Good detail and color. Might be hard to improve on it!
