During the OlympicEquestrian and Badminton (way to exciting for me to watch)I was bored and tried some HDR and Mystical lighting:

Original Out of the Camera #1

And After HDR and Mystical Lighting

Original out of the camera #2

#2 with just HDR

And with Mystical Lighting

I was really bored, but it was fun creating these fantasies. I had afantasy that I won the Olympic marathon, but it wasn't as pretty. Another thrilling event to watch, similar to watching grass grow.

Very interesting. What is the mystical lighting? Did you do that in Photoshop or something?

Sorry for the quadruple post. I don't know what I did? That's what I get for watchingthe Olympics at the same time I'm posting to the forum. Is there a way to delete a post?

Interesting, though I am not sure what to think of the mystic lighting, I don't think it would be my thing. It may be just that these photos don't lend themselves to the effect like a shot in dappled light might. Neat experiment though.

I like the garden. Reminds me of the gardens we viewed on the Garden Walk a couple weeks back in Kenmore. I wish I had brought my camera along for that but I had my kids to keep an eye on so it wouldn't have been easy.

Interesting effects, very spiritual...

I agree with everything you said. I need to find a wooded path in dappled light to make the most of the mystic lighting. It was a fun novelty at best.

Thanks Mike,

My wife is a better gardener than I am a photographer. Our yard is just past it's peak color, but thereare new things happening on a daily basis.

Morning glories creeping onto our deck:

Asters coming into bloom:

And the flox - very fragrant

Cana Lilly - I got the bulbsfrom a friend - reminds me of my wife and I renewing our wedding vows in Cana, Israel a few years ago:

Thanks for looking.
