Thanks IO. Very pleased it pleased you. I used the Bigma and a camera loaned to me by a good friend since mine is being sent in for repair. They seem to work well together.

Thank you Rodney. The timing of my arrival at the pond was fortuitous. Any earlier and it would have been too bright and any later it would have been too dark. As it was I had to wait for several minutes as the object of my photo had his head turned while grooming his feathers. I shot this just as he straightened up. I was lucky in several ways.
