Dennis, we dodged this one in Southeast Florida. Your streets look like ours did in 1976 when we had 27 inches of rain in two days.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Glad to hear no serious damage, don't let cabin fever get you.

Hey Dennis,
Are you still doing OK? Hope you aren't getting as much rain today as we are here!

We really need the rain but, wish it would spread out a little.:G

Dennis,

Glad to see you're out there with your camera instead of a submersible pump. Hope you didn't suffer any damage.

Today we had a trace of rain. Winds gusting to 40 or so and the sun shone for a while this afternoon. Several area are still underwater.

This place really does drain fast. I was out and about this afternoon and there was some standing water but nothing like he day before.

It becomes surreal when they are talking about another 6-8 inches north of Orlando.

I am actually back to work tomorrow. The schools that opened for the year Monday have been closed since monday and won't be back in till next monday.

Well I am glad to see that all the Florida Pentaxians have checked in. Between getting back into uniform for Fay (note to self . . . DIET) and rounding up some multi-county robbery/burglary suspects I have not been home much the last few days.

One tree down in my yard (pretty much dead anyhow) and the lake is over the sea wall. I did take the K20d out to test the weather sealing but I have not uploaded the pics off the card yet.
