Hi Rodney, see you have manual white balance with this shot. Way too blue! Our ravens are black from what I've seen.

This is my try. Took about two minutes in PSE3. I took down blue a bit with "color variations", took blue down a bit further (made it less satured but also lighter to get more details in the feathers) with "hue/saturation" and finally took down the highligts a bit with "shadows/highligts". I'm sure 30 minutes by someone with skills (which I lack) in PSE6 or CS3 could have taken the picture to another level.

Kjell's version much better, with detail in feathers, although almost too charcoaly (sp?) perhaps?

Actually I like both Rodney and Kjell's remakes. For some reason Rodney's, in spite of it being a bit dark, is more attractive. Not sure why, probably just personal taste.
