Here's some more pictures from our vacation, these are still in Jackson.

On our way to Teton Village, we spotted this:

I thought the elk on the side was appropriate for a balloon from here. Elk are common.

We took the gondola up to a restaurant and store, not quite the top of the mountain for the ski area of Teton Village, but still high up in the Teton mountains. I spotted with very wide object:

A paraglider getting ready to launch. I gather that they fill the paraglide with compressed air or something like that - you can see the air turbulance in this shot (it's more obvious in the full sized version).

In the air:

If anyone goes to Jackson and the Grand Tetons National Park, it's worth it to take the gondola or tram up from Teton Village. The views were awesome!

Very cool perspective looking down on a paraglider, way to take advantage of the opportunity!

I took a ton of pictures from above where they launched. It was an awesome spot and I got quite a few good pictures (with the help of the A*300). The third one was cropped a bit, but the second one (the one with just the paraglide) was full frame. I've been in Jackson several times, but this was the first time we went up the lift. I can't believe it took me so long to do it - it's a "must-see" thing to do.

A new perspective.

You'll have to make a follow up with frog bellies seen from the bottom of the pond!
