Nice series, Dawg! Just something calming about mourning doves... I've often wished that I could get a shot of their tail-feathers as they fly up! Just think the mottling is interesting!

I agree Ron..They are beautiful in flight but oh-so hard to capture that way!

Nice, Dawg. I think this is the bird that was in my driveway this morning when I left for work. I scared it off before realizing it was there. I'd never seen them near the house before.

Patty...If you set up a bird feeder in a shady area with several trees..They will show up and feed off the scraps and dropped food under and around the feeder.
