I really like your second shot, Dawg. Every time I try something like that it just never comes out right.

Yes, I've seen a few trees in the past week starting to change. Not looking forward to it as I know the snow is not far behind it. Although, it will help with giving me photo ops for my online class that starts today.:-)

Thanks Patty. I sit on my front porch every morning facing east and watching the sun rise and shine through the tree leaves. Just a matter of waiting till the light illuminates them and then lowering the Exposure Compensation till the highlights and detail survive the exposure experience. LOL

No. 2 is nice, that light is difficult to capture, well done.
Here, down under, it is our last day of winter tomorrow and of course, first day of Spring on Monday 1st September.
