I picked up this lens off ebay for $50 shipped which from reading around is about comparable if a bit on the higher side for price. But that's ok I wanted a prime within my price range and the 50s tend to get a lot of good reviews. Here are some shots I took with it today. I think they came out pretty good and I'm actually fairly impressed as the F2 doesn't seem to get as good a review as the f1.7 or F1.4.

And when all this photo-taking was done, it was time for a nap......

Very nice, Mike. Looks like a good choice. My husband keeps trying to talk me into getting one. Just hadn't decided yet. He keeps looking on ebay for ones for his old camera.

What a great buy and you can see how good this lens is with these beautiful shots.

I have an M f/2 and it still delivers some of my most favorite photos. Very good photos there by the way!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a lot of use out of this lens, even though it's a manual focus.

Nice shots Mike, particularly #1. I too, have the same lens and it's really good when I'm indoors.
