Is Harriet's photo showing the grand prize for this month's challenge? :-)

Well, it is a winner!

Now that would be quite a motivator! But I think everyone would vote for their own shot!

LOL! I didn't pay any attention to what kind of a car it was - just snapped random cars as they drove past, preferably ones traveling at a decent speed. Wouldn't mind one of those, though.

Went to the fair last night with the intentions of finding a motion shot. Tried the ferris wheel, but it would make like two loops around very slow and stop. Also, played around with the carousel (which I may change my shot to), but liked this one initially.

It's one of those that swings back and forth. Not quite going all the way around.

Thanks, GW. I've got some others I'll post in a different thread. But, they didn't come out nearly as nice as I thought this one did.

Patty, that is really cool! I would suggest you do some cropping on the top and right side. It seems that with the bottom cut off a bit, cutting a little off the top of the ride and getting rid of the blackness on the the right would give it a little more umph. Try it and see. But the colors and the design created by the motion are really great! Super job on the exposure as well.

Thanks, Glenn. You were right about the cropping. I reposted as your cropped suggestions. Although, I dislike photos that part is missing. I want to know what's there! But, this did improve it in my opinion.

Cropping was definitely the thing to do with this photo - I really like this version.
