Sorry, Kjell!! But below is one of the original cuckoo clocks. They were firstintroduced somewhere between 1730 and 1750. It wasn't until1850 that they began using the little house design whichwas chosenin acontest for a new clock. Fredrich Eisenlohr, who designed buildings for the railroad,won with the "Train House" design. It became popular and all the present cuckoo clocks are some variation of that design.

Tim, as the Beach Boys used to sing, "Wouldn't it be Nice!" If I could get a hold of one of those old clocks I could sell it and probably get enough to buy several lenses!
