Taken with the 18-55mm kit lens and a K10D camera.

More spiders to give me the shivers. They are very well-done pictures, but they don't make me feel any friendlier to the creatures.

The kit lens does a fair approximation of a macro, huh Dawg? Wish I could help you with what kind of spider that was but I am learning that my best guesses are generally wrong.

That is not something I would want to see if I were as small as a fly or someother menu item! Nice work on the macro!

I know it is a type of funnel web spider and a relative of the recluses but the actual one I'm not sure of Tim. I've loaned out my Viv 105 macro for a while so the Kit is doing the duty right now.

Many thanks Glenn. This one was with legs extended was about half as wide as my hand. Not that little at all. (Notice I said was)
